Amusing Dick

I was commenting at work on an amusing quote I heard on this morning's news, regarding the California gubernatorial Republican primary. After Riordan lost to Simon, the news commentator said "The question now is whether Dick Reardone will put his full weight behind Simon."

One of my co-workers came up with an even better one, which apparently came from a female newscaster in Chicago who was chiding the weatherman for predicting eight inches of snow when there was none that night: "So where's the eight inches you promised last night?" :7 :7 Anyone hear about that one?

In Nashville we have a young, gay weekend news anchor whose mind must have wandered during his delivery because we heard "coming up after this...the leather...um, the weather!"
