I was wondering how often clients need/use a private jet to move

an escort to their location or themselves to the escorts location.....?

If anyone needs/wants more info, e-mail me.

Hmmm ...

... somehow I think that the people who both need

and can afford this kind of service either already own

or lease a private jet of their own or at least know

where to get one ...

Yes Michael, but there are a few pointers your missing.

Like price competition, clients I'm sure are always looking for the same product at a better rate?!

And because of your statement which leads me to believe you don't work

in the profession of private aviation, you would not know how very, very, very few own their own jet.

Trust me, there are so many other business/safety/& "low-profile"

issues the clients want addressed, and when the slightest thing goes wrong, they are in the market of finding someone who can do the job better............I'm sure you know about doing a job better.

Your comment was very iggnorrent in context, but as a professor at

our university says; "Its an oppurtunity for enlightment".

Michael, its not what you said, but how you said it.

I land in a private plane at Santa Barbara a lot and I am always amazed at the number of parked private, not leased, jets--Lear and other. A lot of them have Call Signs, the last two letters of which stand for their name: 716JT (guess who that is) and Pulitzer has his initals there too I think. We don't talk about it much but Santa Barbara is MONEY, real money. Makes Bel-Air, and to some degree Malibu, look like nothing. The only thing I can think of that compares is the Upper East side.

Speaking of private jets, I came across this website the other day and It sounds perfect for people who like to travel to farflung places: http://www.medjetassistance.com/

Yeah, and your atrocious grammar and spelling, not to mention your "iggnorrence", say a lot.

My God, young man, your time must be really precious in that your clients will opt for placing your butt on a charter lear instead of sending you an E-ticket on United.

I am loathe to ever fly in coach (usually filled with middle class people), but do find the first class cabins of most wide-body equipment to be satisfactory. With lots of trips made, I have a ton of miles and status with AA and UA and usually get upgraded.

For the escort above, suggest flying on one airline as much as possible to accumulate miles, and get an elite status. Easier to upgrade. The client can buy a reasonably priced coach ticket (LA-NYC approx $350) and for another $180 or so can get into first class. I know is a great risk that you may not get the upgrade and have to sit in the back. You might want to tell the client if the upgrade does not process, the date is cancelled -- any money paid for the ticket thus far is forfeited.

I am familiar with general aviation (small planes, corporate aircraft). Small, propeller planes serve no purpose for long (over 300 miles) trips, as they are too slow. Also, airlines will get you there quicker. The charter rate for a turn-key, onetime lease on small business jets (Citation, Lear, etc.) are so high that even Jack Welch-types of CEOs will have problems to justify the need for the high expense.
