Mandatory Horizontal Scrolling

I've noticed when using the latest version of the message board software that the horizontal scroll bar is always displayed regardless of how wide I resize the Internet Exlorer window. The scrollbar occupies almost, but not quite, all of the available space.

 

In practice, this means that I must scroll to the right if I want to see the rightmost one or two characters of any post; a minor but very annoying bug (or is this a "feature"? )

Hoover many of us have the same problem. It is annoying though I just deal with it ... though my mouse is really unhappy .

Ah, well, that's good to hear; at least I'm not the only one suffering!

For whatever the reason when I use Netscape I don't have the left to right scrolling or browser overrun issue .

It doesn't show up in Safari (Apple's beta browser for the Mac). If you make the window very narrow, it eventually shows up, but at that point, it's needed.
