keep getting wrong dates

I am a new poster to this site and am having a problem with my laptop, in getting current topics. When I am in my office and using my desk top I have no problems reading and posting in the message center. When I get home and use my laptop, I go into the message center and get topics dated months ago. I see the current posting fine, but when I click to get in to read the postings I get postings from last summer. Can anybody give me any suggestions. I miss my message center before bedtime :-(
