I find it funny the way some reviewers totally contradict themselves. For example in one of todays reviews the reviewer says:

"Did he live up to what he promised? He's the first guy I've ever had sex with, whether I was paying him or not, who totally blew my mind in how he handled handling me. Again, WOW"

Ok so cool, a newbie uses an escort, that's fine... but then in his personal description he says this:

"I'm mostly bottom, almost totally. I love giving head (he was a tough one to treat right because of the thickness...), love cuddling. If a guy can't kiss, he's not getting anything else from me. I like getting fucked most any way, but I love getting fucked really hard. Alan did that better than any man I've ever had the pleasure of having fuck me."

So my question is, what's the point of writing a review saying this is your first guy ever, when obviously that is untrue? At least proofread what you're gonna post first. :)

PS. I didn't post the escorts name or reviewers name as I don't mean this as a personal thing against either, just something I've noticed in other reviews and seeing it today I had to say something. It's one of todays reviews if you really wish to look :)

This is just another case of unclear writing (and hurried reading?). If you go it back and read it with out the inserted clause, it makes sense. The escort was the first man he ever had sex with who totataly blew his mind.... I don't think he meant to imply that he was a virgin with a great deal of experience.

I agree, sometimes it's easy to write something in a hurry. Also, let's face it, not everyone expresses themselves well through the written word. Some are phone people, some are eye-to-eye, and others like to write.

That said and done, I too get a lot of entertainment value in reading postings and reviews, however, where I have the MOST fun, is reading the responses that escorts have to negative reviews. Of course, I TRY to keep in mind what I just said above about some people not being as adept at writing, but I am only human and can be just as judgemental. I think if I were a potential client, I would pay more attention to a poorly written, overly defensive response, rather than just the negative review. That's why if an escort is going to write a response, it's so important that you look at all the facts, support what you are saying, avoid personal attacks (even though that can be difficult), and be honest. (oh, proofing wouldn't be such a bad idea either)

Sometimes people just don't click, and there can't always be a good review, so you can take one average review with a grain of salt, however, when responding, don't you just want to say...."THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE!!" ? LOL Some of them are very entertaining, ever spend much time reading them? Of course, watch, I'll probably post this, and re-read it and discover that it's riddled with typos and whatnot! So, I'll eat my own words......;-)

I've been fortunate to be the recipient of good reviews, so I guess it's easier to say this, knowing I've never been emotionally charged by a bad review. However, I have certainly learned my lesson the hard way on personal emails when I get charged by what someone may say. Once you press "send" there is no taking it back....

Best advice?...think first...also, write it, (wait a day) re-read it, and then send if you still feel that way!

That's my 2 cents worth...I just re-read it...no typos I think, so here's to pressing 'send'!

I think it is funny! I read as many new reviews I can and I see things like this often. I think it is mainly because when someone hires and escort alot of times they are new and they are new to the scene,it is like being a virgin. Lord knows I am not the best typest but I try to atleast make some kind of sense and follow a clear train of thought. hehe I fill that I get alot out of reading the reviews just for my benifit but I wish people would not over exaggerate there thoughts. I know it is tough since there brain has a million things to say but only 10 fingers to type. hehe Anywho thats my bit.

I find it much easier to review someone whom I've seen a couple of times vs. someone whom I've seen 20/30 times. I just know too much about the latter guy. For me, if I see someone that often I have to have a lot in common on a personal level as well as a sexual level.

Reviews are a place to talk about sex, not sex and what a great person the escort is. Do other people have the same problem? As to the topic of this thread, the negative reviews and especially the responses, are extremely instructive.

When people talk about what a “great guy” an escort is, I realize there is no way they can know the true person, however, it is an important indicator of how well the escort is doing his job. Does he ACT like a decent guy and make you feel good about the time you spent with him? Of course I’m interested in the sex, but if they don’t say something positive about his attitude…I get a little leery. There are many, many beautiful men out there, but only the good ones can make you feel like they are enjoying themselves.

Once again there is another fake review to read for our own entertainment. If there was any screening of these reviews one would think the screener might be interested in the extraordinary contradictions. When others begin to see the reviews for what they are then threads like this will not be needed ... so relax it is only entertainment. }>

Gabe,

Very well-expressed and written.

True also that often in the heat of the moment when writing a review errors occur - I once accidentally pushed the "send" buttom before finishing. I also wrote one review in a moment of great anger when an escort was a no-show, then regretted what I wrote and asked Hooboy to remove it, which was very helpful.
