Why the Marriott in Rio?

Hmmm... broadband in the room though. I use Vonage as my home phone. That means I could bring my adapter and have my USA number right there with me. Now there's an idea.

 

Anyone who's been there happen to have any figures on ping times and latency?

I have two Catagory 6 - 7 day awards, that have been renewed twice. I would not pay the prices, that the Rio Marriott charges, but recognize, there are more expensive eligible properties for the award.

 

Sorry the fruit, etc at the Atlantico was not tasty like in farm fresh. Try the 'fruit' ANYWHERE in Thailand, if you want the best there is along with all the other parts of Breakfast. It is a feast!

 

The Rio springtime seems like a good time for a return trip and the Marriott seems like the most convenient place to stay compared to the longer walk to the Copa!

Think I will organize a tour including hotels with your preferred number of *****'s! Optimum weather included.
