Strip Clubs and Hustler bars in Lauderdale

I just found out I'm going to be in Lauderdale for three weeks in late December and early Jan. I realize hustler bars have all but disappeared, but I luv 'em. Any in Lauderdale? Any strip clubs where you can pick up cute boys if you're friendly and generous?

Check out http://www.johnnysboys.com It's a site for a strip club in Ft Lauderdale. They seem to specialize in thin, young guys. I have never been there myself, but it's a place I would like to see. The boys, especially on the "past dancers" page are totally my type.

 

I think there are other places too that have the hunky, latin guys. Good luck and let us know what you find. jetBlue is initiating service to Ft Lauderdale from Dulles for $50 roundtrip....

It's been a couple of years since I've been to FLL, but I seem to recall a large number of stripper bars. I hired guys out of two different stripper bars. It doesn't mean they all escort, but I don't think a stripper (whom you've tipped a couple of times) would object if you asked "Do you escort?" Has the situation out there changed in the last two years, anybody?

Johnny's has mostly younger (18-25) dancers, leaning heavily on the twink type, but with a few masculine, young, muscular guys, as well.

The other male strip bar in Ft Laud is Lord's, on US1 about a mile north of Oakland Park Blvd. It has a more muscular, and a bit older (upper 20's), group of dancers. A lot of these guys used to dance at the Boardwalk which has closed. Several will do "private shows" at your home or hotel.

These reports are from last February so things may have changed:

 

Lord's is at 4200 N. Federal Highway.

My experience there is like the NYC Gaeity. They muscle boys promised me a great time but gave a quicky "worship me but I don't really do anything" scene.

 

I've had better luck at Johnny's.

 

The third option is the Cubby Hole, 823 N. Federal Highway, just south of Sears and across from Holiday Park. This is just a neighborhood-type bar (and pretty low rent). Entrance is at the rear. Both the bar and the nearby streets have hustlerboys.

If you don't mind a little travel time there is another place in West Palm Beach. It is Cupid's. Check out there website for more detals http://www.cupidscabaret.com They seem to have some of the Canadian/Gaiety dancers as well as locals and internationals. The table dances were $20 ea..and somewhat short. The VIP rooms are $50 for half hour plus $100 plus for the dancers. You could get lucky or spend a lot. The club is very clean, fairly brightly lit, and generally in tip top shape. The crowd seemed somewhat upscale and predominate age was late 20's through early 40's. The dancers are not bashful about full nudity and are very creative in receiving tips while dancing.

 

Regarding Lords and Johnny's

Johnny's very twinky and young. Dancers also seemed selective in that a big tip did not seem to make a difference if there interest was elsewhere. I guess you could describe them as standoffish.

Lords very different type of dancers....generally older and lots of latinos. Some of them have been doing it for a while. Last visit one offered to take me sightseeing for the day for a mere $1000. Duh maybe an overnite but pretty costly to look at the sights. In general the dancers in Lords were more responsive to tipping that Johnny's. They both seem also to be concerned about Luaderdale police. The police raids have dampened some pretty wild behaviour in those bars.

 

And an RIP for Boardwalk. A great place...awesum friendly guys, no unrealistic expectations for a tip at the bar and just a comfortable place to be. Hope it will return someday.

 

Another source for lauderdale is hotspots magazine with large selection of classifieds.

Thanks, al, to you and everyone else who has weighed in. Very helpful. I'll try out all three places in Lauderdale and go up to Palm Beach, too. I don't think it's too far, but I don't know FL at all.

 

Anybody have more info on experiences at the Cubby Hole?

Nothing happens there. It's a dark, dingy pool bar. There are street types playing pool and walking the blocks out back. The night I was there I saw a half dozen guys strolling around at about 11pm.

 

Last February, I picked up a guy I had seen during the day walking through Holiday Park (used to be a serious cruising grounds but is drying up). Sean agreed to an oral-only session for $50. At my room, he was willing to bottom for an additional $25.

 

It was a good time and had the oldtime thrill of picking up a street hustler.
