Right now I am giving serious thought about traveling to Spain: Barcelona and Madrid in 2008. I am mentally planning but am in need of information regarding gay or gay friendly hotels in both cities.

Although I have been to both places in the past, I did not stay in any gay owned or gay friendly hotel; at the time I was in a different place and space.

I do know about Axel in Barcelona and perhaps will stay there, but other sources would be helpful in making my final decision; I know of no gay or gay friendly venue in Madrid.

Guys, send all info. as possible for me to peruse and to begin planning.

Advance thanks are in order. :-)

I have been waiting for some type of feedback! May I have it before the 15th of our impending new year! :-)

Well, in Madrid of course the gay/gay friendly area is Chueca. There are plenty of small hotels, most of them in Hortaleza Street (calle), very central, close to La Gran Via.

Bars, restaurants, disocs and saunas there.

The Sauna with rent boys is called Adan, but it is not in Chueca, it's a 20-30 minutes walk or a quick ride by subway.
