Not sure if this will work ,but what the hell i'm gonna do it anyway,what do you think would happen or what would the major changes be if you woke up tomorrow morning(wherever you are)and found that it was illegal to be straight/heterosexual etc and that to be gay/homosexual whatever was the "norm"and acceptable behaviour in the world,would be interested in hearing what the panel thought

P.S no i'm not on drugs (yet)!its just an idea i've had floating about in my mind for a few days .

Andy, first of all, thanks for starting a new topic.

 

An interesting question you've posed for us. First, I'd love the ability to be who I am, since in my present situation I have to stay pretty much in the closet. Secondly, I'd be an activist for heterosexual rights, acting in sympathy and solidarity with those whose heterosexuality was considered illegal, working to make it accepted and legal. I can hardly envision that a world where the tables were turned would be any better than they are as things actually stand now. What else? Guess I'll need to think a bit more on this one........

Big A: You should look for an old Anthony Burgess (Clockwork Orange) novel called The Wanting Seed. It is more or less on this theme.

 

I agree with Bucky. Don't think hetrosex should be outlawed. Ad besides, think of all the bum fucks you would have to put up with sleeping with straight men.

With all the scientific technology around at this point in time and with the advances in fields such as genetics i would think that it wouldn't be much of a problem ,same sex pregnancy anyone !,Just a thought Andy :o

I would not wish for the world to switch like that. I'm certain most, if not all, of us have faced the discrimination and physical violence that seems to be part and parcel to being gay in this society. It's bad enough that we are subjected to this, why would I wish it on anyone else?
