Okay, we have all talked about what CD's we like and would recomend. NOW, what CD's and or albums do you own that either A)you would not admit too it or

B)have not made it too Compact Disc

Here are my top five

1)BOOTS-NANCY SINATRA'S GREATEST HITS(This is on CD with 6 additional bonus tracks if anyone is interested)

2)VANITY 6(What can beat "Nasty Girl" and "If A Girl Answers Don't Hang Up)

3)APPOLONIA 6(They sang "Sex Shooter" I will say no more)

4 & 5) THE MARY JANE GIRLS-both of their albums(Candy Man, Boys,

Wild and Crazy Love, Shadow Lover-I do not care what people say-those were good songs-Also, they are releasing a Mary Jane Girls Greatest Hits out this fall)

Now before anyone makes fun of my selections, just remeber that you have buried somewhere either Debbie Gibson, Tiffany,Milli Vanilli, Tone Loc or Vanilla Ice. I rest my case.

My choices will definitely reveal my affinity for 70's music:

Donny Osmond's Greatest Hits -- Mostly bubblegum cover versions, some of which I like anyway; but I liked "Sweet and Innocent" as a preteen and I still like it now.

The Poppy Family - A Good Thing Lost -- Terry Jacks went on to solo success with "Seasons in the Sun", one of the most hated pop songs of all time. Before separating from his wife Susan, however, they recorded a number of sappy but good pop songs, some of which became quite popular ("Which Way You Goin', Billy" and "That's Where I Went Wrong").

Olivia Newton-John - Totally Hot -- This is Olivia's first album post-Grease, and she appeared to be trying to capitalize on the biker-chick-Sandy image which emerged at the end of Grease. This album has some of Olivia's best songs -- "A Little More Love" and "Deeper Than The Night" -- but also opens with the hysterical "Please Don't Keep Me Waiting", in which Olivia appears to be doing a Yoko Ono imitation. (Okay, not literally; but what was she thinking when she recorded all of those wails and shreaks?!)

Partridge Family - Definitive Collection -- I know I'm not the only David Cassidy/Partridge Family fan here! :)

I actually like "soul" music of this era a lot, but can't name any "guilty pleasures" from that category -- it's all good!

I have no shame: )

Every album by Marilyn Manson...I guess I'm going to hell too: )

oh wait I'm already there.

Eminem, genious social commentary, those who suffer from archiebunkerism, sadly misinterpreted.

LA Gunns, 'hollywood vampires' Pure cheese early 90's metal band, ala Guns n Roses, etc.

Mike Flowers Pops, remakes of famous songs, but done as lounge material: ) FUN!! 'light my fire' and the 'velvet underground medley' are perfection.

Ice-T, 'original gangster' one of the most pompous, arrogant posers in recent music history. How can you not love him: )

Armageddon Dildos, have a few by them, german industrial techno, pure velveeta, but that's what makes it soooooo tasty.

Chainsaw Kittens, bought it for the name. : )

Matt(things that make you go hmmmmm)
