Might be the latter - as in, too good to be true? - he's an escort who went by the name Ryan and Matthew at different times, and has been know to post very controversially here on this board. IF Matt is Ryan, there is definitely a great similarity! Matt seems to be stockier than Ryan was. But anyway, in his past life, no one really was impressed with Ryan's personality! Pretty sure. I'd seen him at my gym on occasion and he'd put on quite a bit of weight from the initial photos he posted. But even half a face was enough for me to recognize him.
