Rod Hagen Posted Monday at 02:22 PM Posted Monday at 02:22 PM (edited) Saw this at a Q/A Saturday. I was the only audience member who asked a question, people are too timid. Both Reed Birney and Kieron Moore were excellent. I expect good things from this director and nearly zero recognition for both actor's performances because of the film's subject matter. Kieron Moore's as a Camboy with bravado is probably the least controversial thing about this movie. It doesn't go as far as Mysterious Skin does, but it's liable to piss off lots of people (who probably won't be bothered to see it). I would resist the urge to click the times review only because 10 minutes into the film there is a big reveal which Wesley Morris couldn't leave out of his review. It's a strong movie for strong thinkers. Enjoy. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt34915693/ https://www.nytimes.com/2026/05/07/movies/blue-film-review.html Kieron Moore Boots: Edited Monday at 02:25 PM by Rod Hagen thomas 1
Rod Hagen Posted 1 hour ago Author Posted 1 hour ago Here's a good interview with the Director. The interview will reveal what you find out about the older character early on in the film:
