I write this review about Mike Russo “Monstah Mike” because this was the most amazing massage. He is the modern day Greek God, educated, and a former college baseball player. His pictures do not do him justice. He is much better in person.

Mike is an awesome massage therapist (the best) whose professionalism, skill, and compassion set him apart. His constant communication, respect for comfort levels, and genuine commitment to helping made this one of the most positive and effective massage experiences imaginable.

I recently booked a massage with Mike and I couldn't be more impressed with the entire experience. From start to finish, everything was seamless and professional.

As my eyes drifted upward, and in that instant, I was enveloped by such overwhelming tranquility that I half-expected to see clouds beneath my feet. If this wasn’t heaven, it was the closest thing to it I have ever known.

Mike is easily the most impressively built person I have ever seen. His massive upper body, narrow waist, and sheer muscle everywhere. His shirt looked ready to burst at the seams, stretched tight over his broad chest and shoulders, while his thighs were enormous, the fabric of his shorts clinging to every curve of muscle. His outfit was immaculate and perfectly fitted. His physique, especially his glutes, looked sculpted straight from fitness heaven.

After I made contact with Mike, he was extremely user-friendly, and made it very easy to schedule an appointment without any problems and issues. He is the consummate gentleman.

Mike arrived on time, which immediately set a positive tone for the appointment. What stood out is his deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology. It was clear he understood the body's mechanics in detail, allowing him to address my specific concerns with precision and care. Rather than following a generic routine, he demonstrated genuine interest in understanding my needs and tailoring the massage accordingly.

What impressed me most was his attitude. He did not just go through the motions. His enthusiasm for helping and commitment to my well-being were evident throughout the session.

Mike maintained clear, professional communication when I was inquiring about booking him and throughout the entire session, which helped me relax and trust him. As he applied pressure to each of the many knots in my muscles, he explained what he was doing, checking in about my comfort level and adjusting as needed. Several of the knots required being worked over multiple times, and he always let me know when he was going back to a problem area, so I never felt surprised or uncomfortable. By the time he finished, it was clear that those stubborn knots were no longer there, and the combination of his ongoing communication and methodical technique made the experience feel both reassuring and highly effective.

He went out of his way to make sure the entire session felt comfortable, safe, and respectful. He made it clear from the beginning that my well-being came first, both physically and emotionally, and that there was no pressure to push past my limits. He specifically told me that we did not have to work on any muscle that would cause too much pain or become uncomfortable, and he repeated this reassurance more than once during the massage. I was able to relax and trust his judgment. That combination of professionalism, empathy, and genuine concern for my comfort made the experience stand out in the best possible way.

Any other reviews?

No, just Mike’s own “promo review.”
I realize “muscle knots” is slang - they’re really myofascial trigger points - and the misleading term has been around for a hundred years. But it’s like “toxins;” when a therapist uses it, I am immediately skeptical of his actual pro knowledge.
