+ Gar1eth Posted Wednesday at 09:44 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:44 AM (edited) I don't know how many of you use Scruff. But there's a matching section where using some arcane criteria they present profiles to you. You can swipe right or left to indicate interest. And if someone has swiped right on you in the past, it will indicate you're a match. You can then try to text them -and as usually happens in my case, they never respond back. Who knows why they selected you if they aren't interested in actually texting when it seems you might be attracted to each other? But of course there is another scenario where you swipe right, the other guy has never seen your profile before-or has seen it and nor swiped right on it. So there's no match. Sometimes on these no matches-I'm still interested. I'll take a screenshot of the profile, to try and contact them directly outside the match function. The screenshot will have their profile name, often their age, and their height. I will then enter these parameters in the Scruff search function. Nine times out of 10 the search function comes up with bupkiss. I tried Scruff Help to see if they could help. . They said something about maybe the guys deleted their profile. But it seems to me that this has happened too often for that to be the reason. Plus I normally search fairly soon after I've first seen the profile. So again unlikely the profile would be deleted after just having been presented to me. My opinion is their Search Function isn't great. But I was wondering if any of the more computer savvy among us might have more thoughts on the matter Edited Wednesday at 09:45 AM by Gar1eth
