I met him, unfortunately.  He looked like his pics, but that's the only positive thing I have to say.   Communication is difficult, his English is not good.   He showed up a couple of hours late and our time was very rushed and not fun.   He texted a number of times after asking for help with fake emergencies.

I would avoid. I never ended up meeting him. However I had been in contact. I asked him to let me know when he got into town. (I received the above responses in the interim)

he texted me at 1045 at night saying he was 100 dollars short a hotel room. This went back and forth for awhile. The implication was that if I sent him money he could get a room. Obviously I did not meet him. (And from what I can tell he’s been in my town for a few days)
