Surprised no one’s reviewed North of North yet! Easy, fun watching. 25 minute episodes. In a throwback to Northern Exposure, Canadian comedy set in the fictional Arctic town of Ice Cove, Nunavut. The main character is Siaja (played by Anna Lambe - was in True Detective: Night Country), a young Inuit mother who publicly leaves her husband and strives to rebuild her life in a close-knit community where everyone knows each other’s business. Great supporting cast. I’m lusting on Braeden Clarke who plays Kuuk, a dorky handsome “southerner from Ottawa” who’s lusting on Siaja. And in a real flashback, the awkward town manager Helen is played by Mary Lynn Rajskub aka Chloe O’Brian, the uber quirky tech-savvy analyst in the series 24. 

Great escape TV. I binged all 8 episodes in one sitting. And they just announced that season 2 has been green-lighted!
