New guy in Charlotte.  Joined April 18th and already 8 good reviews.  TGTBT?  Hopefully these reviews are accurate.  He looks fun.  Any experiences?

So I took the plunge and sent a photo and made the deposit. Super nice guy. Great looking. Have a good massage. Very sensual. Spent more time around the a**hole than I normally like (I prefer the massage and then attention, mutual touch to the front!). I will communicate more clearly next time. I would repeat.

Has anyone else noticed something fishy going on with Ben’s RentMasseur reviews?

Frequency and consistency. No more than a week goes by, often only 2-3 days and he has a new review. This is unheard of in our industry. Note the rapid cluster of many positive reviews in a short period between July and early October, and really overall since the account was created in April 2025.

Note frequent near-identical positive phrases and strong superlatives (“Totally worth it”, “Very relaxing”, “best deep tissue massage”) across multiple entires. Doctored reviews often reuse the same winning phrases.

Many reviews support or justify his less popular policies among most clients like providing client photos or sending deposits as a condition to book. To each his own regarding how they decide to screen clients, but the fishy part is how quick his clients are to defend his booking policies.

Reviews contain few, if any typos, or grammatical errors. It’s surprising when clients type up perfectly organized, paragraphed review messages, on a consistent basis.

He had little time in either Charlotte (pre-move) or Denver (post-move) to build up a strong, consistent client base. It’s unusual to have so much business so quickly, much less to have so many of his clients reviewing so consistently, in both cities.

Maybe some of the reviews are genuine, but I can’t help but wonder if any of these guys booked based on the large number of other reviews exhibiting telltale signs of manipulation.

Just my armchair gumshoe take. What do you long time forum members think?

If it’s genuine, good for him. If it’s not, all of this will catch up to him eventually.

Never noticed until you just mentioned it, so I went back and read all of his reviews.  I believe there are 58 or 59?  Lost count to be honest.  You are right...I have never seen so many well-written reviews.  Lost track of the number of times 'transformative' was used.  I also noticed that only his first two reviews were for 60 minute sessions, a few more are 90 minutes, but it seems the majority of the reviews indicate a 120 minute session.  I thought this was strange as well.  I looked at his ad when he first appeared on the scene in Denver, but quickly moved on because of all the restrictions/limitations so I had never really checked out the reviews until now.  You definitely may be onto something.

I’ve met him and it was a very good session.  Real massage and more.  He was in North Carolina for a while and lives in Denver now, that’s real.   I can’t speak to any fishy reviews on massage site as I don’t leave any there. I don’t really trust any reviews there.  I would not say he has limitations/restrictions at all and upon a second session things got even spicier.   I think on that front he does a good therapeutic and sensual massage and anything more ymmv.  His prerequisites are a bit much and almost held me back from meeting.  I don’t regret going forward at all.  He did follow up a few weeks later requesting my last name and email address for his “new database” and said he’s moving to a new platform and it’s for promotions and such.  I said no thanks let’s leave it to my first name and number (which is a burner number anyway) lol.     Although he still wants that info, that ain’t happening.  He’s a nice guy, trained and talented although quirky with all the requests.  I’d still recommend.
