Den Of Thieves 1 & 2 on Netflix

I wasn't familiar with Gerard Butler's work, but I happened to watch Den of Thieves 1 a few nights ago. I was surprised by the quality of the film. I did not know that my heartthrob Pablo Schreiber was in it, so that caused additional excitement.

It's a bank heist movie, as in Federal Reserve, and I found it better than most heist dramas. The story is interesting, lots of suspense, and you don't really know what happened until the very end. They still leave you with plenty of mystery.

Then I noticed Den of Thieves 2 was also on Netflix, with a 2025 release date. It is the sequel to the original, and it's far better to watch 1 before watching 2, so you can properly follow the story. The 2nd film is also very interesting, with Butler's character going to Europe. Again, you don't know what the fuck is going on until the very end. I thought both films were worth a watch, if you like edge-of-your-seat suspense with a dose of mystery.
