Back in the mid / late teens he was on rentmen as BenNYC.  Chatted with him but was never able to meet up.  Hoping on a trip to NYC I can remedy that.  All the conversations I had with him were pleasant and open.  We were just never able to make a time fit.  Last time I reached out to him in like 20/21 he responded politely that he had backed out of the business.

When your private life activities become widely known they become part of your public persona, and most people won't be able to compartmentalize sufficiently to differentiate.
