American Swedish Institute, Minneapolis

I visited the ASI today in Minneapolis.  The current exhibit is Karin Larsson: Let the hand be seen .

My kin all came from Sweden so this museum is always close to my heart.  I visit whenever I return to Minnesota.

I enjoyed handweaver  Christine Novotny.   Her work was displayed alongside Karin Larsson.

She still lives up in Grand Marias.

Larsson's philosophy impressed me more than any specific art form.
