Gentlemen - I saw this on craigslist. Before you hit BACK, there’s a new spa with Thai men.  I have not tried it out yet. Soon.

Add one more to the many spas we have in LA that caters to the enthusiasts.

So we have Thai Wellness, Thai Massage Time, Silverlake Wellness (old Blue Moon), Sparadise, Ananda Spa, Candle Spa, WeHo Massage Company, Prince Spa …what else?

Please report back.  I will, once I try it out.

I realy feel like I’m in bangkok here in Los Angeles with all these Thai massage places and with 80% of the asians on RMasseur being Thai.  They know the industry so well.  And a smattering of these masseurs are on Grindr as well (for both personal and business gains).

I did. It’s your standard nice clean new massage place in a small corner strip mall in WeHo. I called ahead and requested a specific massage therapist from the ad, but when I get there I’m told that something suddenly came up and he wasn’t available but I could try this other guy who was there or a ladyboy therapist (the receptionist used the term ladyboy). Felt like a bait & switch, like the guys in the ad don’t actually work there? They’re just in the ad to lure customers in. I tried the guy who was there and he was alright. Typical upsell at the end. Wouldn’t go back, nothing special.

On their CL ad, 60 minutes is $70. I texted them and asked about 90 mins and was quoted $140. I asked why it was double, and they said, "Because 90mins is longer than usual. Take up the room longer than an hr. I want to make sure everyone get the full hr amount of right time." WTF??

So I decided not to book with them. But I guess, in that theory, you should get 120 minutes for $140, right?

Do you remember the guy's name, or was it a guy from the ad? Did you get the upsell? Crazy amount?

They did the exact same thing to me. When I said, so it's double for half the time extra, the girl on the phone just started laughing.

Yeah, you should book two one-hours back-to-back.

My only hope is that I know someone who had one great experience there. And I'm intrigued by their ads, like the one pasted above which suggests more than just massage.

But wish they got their act together, like Thai Wellness, with their website and identifications of the masseurs (so there's no bait-and-switch) and easy booking process.

Was the guy cute and or look like the guys in the ad?

It's interesting because the only one in their ad who has pics elsewhere locally is Michael, who goes by Micheal (reverse "a" e") on masseurfinder: https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/48070/

Also goes by Krisz on rentmasseur:

The other guys connect to pictures from Thailand it appears.

I think both places are coincidentally using pics of the same guy to lure customers? Because i also inquired with Krisz and he gave me the address of a different spa in WeHo on Robertson.

He was alright looking but definitely not one of the guys in the ad. His name was James. I declined the upsell, since I wasn’t feeling it from the beginning.

How old was he? There's a James that works at Candle Spa Studio City that dabbles in extras away from Candle Spa.. Wonder if it's him?

30s or 40s, Thai, around 5’6?. I haven’t been to Candle Spa so much not familiar with the James over there.

Yeah, Krisz/Michael works at both spas. I think he's at the one one Robertson (which has a $160 fee just to use the spa), I think, in the beginning of the week. Then at Hollywood Hills Thai Spa at the latter part of the week.
