Maspalomas

Has anyone been to Maspalomas in Gran Canaria?  

Thinking of going and have done some research, but would love some first hand evidence, especially of places to stay and go, along with activities!

A wonderful place to visit. Spent a month there this year. Plenty to do and see.

Yumbo Centre is the center point. A multi-story open air shopping center that has gay bars and gay sex cruising clubs for almost every theme you can think off. Gays go there with the intention to get off so sex is quite easy to get. The offering of providers seems very limited but I guess that makes sense because free sex is very very easy to come by. 

Walking around the Yumbo Center in the evening and at night is a delight. 

And there's the beach south of Maspalomas. It used to be a great cruising ground but because of environmental activists it's completely forbidden to go into the dunes so now it's just a nude beach with much less (even no) action.
