Have some flavorful and very good mouthwash on hand.  Swish and gargle prior to your playing.  My former go-to-guy and I would smoke some good 420, return to my hotel room, gargle then play hard.

He knew that I abhorred playing with guys who smoked, so he complied with my wishes which were far the better of us both.
