As many of you know, the National Theatre Live series brings stellar productions of plays and musicals -- filmed "live" before audiences -- from London stages to movie theatres in the US and elsewhere.

Yesterday I saw "Dear England." It's full of hunky soccer/football players in shorts -- working out, practicing, dancing, and just being studs. The story is about the 2018 national team for England as it tries to win world and European championships after decades of bitter losses.

The acting is first rate, especially by Joseph Fiennes. He plays the "new" national team manager who himself was a key factor in the 1994 loss for England at the European Championship. Only one player removes his shirt, but he has such a wonderful chest that you don't care he's the only one. 🥰
