Don't know what type of escort you like, but I really like Josh Daniels (see reviews). As to strip shows, there are several options over on O St. in the SE (not far from Navy Yard Metro stop). There are a few bars along there that feature strippers, or you can go to the Follies where not only are there strippers Friday - Sunday, noon, 3, 6, 9, and midnight, but also videos, dark rooms, etc.

I think most people would say that Wet is the best of the strip clubs, it's also in a marginally better location safety wise.

Check the archives. I believe you will find a few posts on the strip club scene in DC. Wet, Zeigfield's, La Cage and Follies are all good places to try and all right near each other except for Wet. However, none of these clubs are in the safest part of town. Rent a car or take a Taxi. And have fun!
