MikeThomas Posted December 13, 2023 Posted December 13, 2023 Saw Maestro last night. Cooper was brilliant as Bernstein as was Carey Mulligan who played his wife Felicia Cohn Montealegre. Highly recommend. The cinematography and score were amazing. Cooper has so much talent. What will he do next? + WilliamM, musclestuduws and thomas 1 1 1
d.anders Posted January 21 Posted January 21 This was a challenging one to sit through. Bradley Cooper sounded like he had a cold, and after a bit that began to annoy me. Outside of West Side Story, I've never much liked Bernstein's music. Carey Mulligan was terrific. I thought Cooper really looked the part, and his conducting appeared very real. I'm sure a lot of work went into making this film.
pleasureseeker Posted January 28 Posted January 28 It's been a while now but I remember that I went I saw it I was impressed with the cinematography but felt the movie was about very little. Their relationship (Bernstein and his wife) was the only interesting aspect of the film.
