Account settings, email blocked

I received your Website notice my email is blocked because it had rejected too many of your messages.  What does that mean?

 

I receive CompanyofMen emails nearly every day.

Before I change emails, I'd like to understand the meaning of the following 

Your email address is blocked in our system because it has rejected too many of our messages. Please change your email to keep your account secure.

Under my email account security there are no blocked addresses.

I noticed all email notifications from Twitter stopped same time.

 

I added Company of Men to my email CONTACTS.

Maybe that will resolve this.

It means emails we've attempted to send you were rejected by your mail provider.  It was returned as a hard bounce.

I have reset the system to allow it to send email again to the address you have on file, but I can only do this a few times.  If your mail provider continues to reject email from us, our hosting provider will eventually permanently block it.
