If you are in So. Cal. and enjoy live theater, Antaeus' production of The Tempest is packed with entertainment.

I was reminded of another recent Shakespeare production, a wildly contemporized Romeo and Juliet at The Old Globe, where a  lovestruck Romeo wondered on stage strumming his guitar and singing "How soon is now?" by The Smiths.

"The Tempest" production was similar to it, with guitar, props, singing and much, much more.

My friend passed on going with me, that he sticks with the classic style Shakespeare productions.

I feel him, yet  I had my expectations. Antaeus does good work.

I enjoyed it.  A talented cast and creative production.
