ESPN laid off this weekend around 20 on air personalities.

How many layoffs has ESPN had?  The headline of "ESPN layoffs" is announced so often it's starting to feel like Groundhog Day.

Layoffs with on air talent is very common across all tv. I do not even work in entertainment but realize sports anchors come and go. All the retired pro athletes who got fired can apply for another job like the rest of us.
