Met up with Toby today. 100 percent recommend.  Easy to schedule with,  great personality, nice Italian accent,  good quality massage,  combo of deep medium pressure with some nice Thai stretching.

I’m confused by his pricing. And notice something similar with other providers. In his case, two 45-minute massages would only cost $200. But one 90-minute massage costs $240. 
 

To look at it another way, his 45-minute massage costs about $2.20 per minute. But for 60 minutes he’s charging over $2.60 a minute. 
 

Does he want to discourage longer appointments?
 

Any insight into why some providers do this?

The providers are working. It's physical exertion work. IMO they probably prefer shorter sessions so there are breaks in between.

My correspondence experience with Toby was not so great. I had reached out to him because of the recs over here by text. He would be super friendly, then suddenly ghost when trying to book an actual appointment. Sometimes he would say he’s away, at a birthday party, or other things, but then he would forget he said that the next day and say something else. If I had been weird in my messaging or we had a bad experience, I’d totally get it, but it was just weird on his end. It would be a ‘yes’ except when booking.
