Blackhat Defcon 2022

Curious to see if anyone is heading out to Vegas for Blackhat or Defcon next week?  Open for suggestions as this is my first Hacker Summercamp - BH/Defcon.  Usually did more SANS/ midwest cons prior. 

I'm headed out that way as part of my day job.  Not sure if there's others in the security space here. 

Debated if this should be in tech or travel section - admins move as appropriate.

Black hat for me has become way to commercialized. It used to be a good security conference… lately it feels more like a big vendor push.

Bumping this cause I'm leaning towards going to Hacker Summer Camp as a lark/excuse to go see some Vegas shows / talent.   

Anyone else going in 2023?  Black Hat/Defcon?

I was supposed to be at Blackhat this year for work, but that travel got changed this week.  Have been asked to meet with a client on the east coast.

My dates got bumped. I'm going to defcon.  Also the Atomic Test Site Museum is doing a tour of the test range so I'm sticking around for that.

Going to go back to Defcon 2024.  
What else?  Maybe some shows.
