Anyone watch that new show, "Legend of the Seeker"?

It kind of has the corninest of the "Hercules" and "Xena" series. I can't get into the story, but my God, the eye candy of the main character!

Here are some pics:

I recently stumbled across this show. The dialogue was trite,

the character development and depth practically non-existant, the plot

predictable and the supporting cast composed of dullards and dweebs

featuring fight scenes choreographed by blind demonic hamsters.

"It was better than CATS - I'll watch it Again and Again!"

That is - once I realized that the true worth of the show is

vested totally in the removal of the Leather Vest by the sweaty,

leather allergic sword swinging (and maybe swallowing) Austrailian

bomb-shell butt-boy star of our show - Craig Horner.

He is apparently the former star of some Austrailian

teen drama series - Blue Ball High . . . I think.

This show provides an excellent opportunity to catch up on your

music, while enjoying what the show truly has to offer -

This is probably the worst show I watch without fail.

The Lead "Wizard" Mr Tall & Lanky...I believe is the same Actor who played the Pilot in the Original Mad Max Movie with M. Gibson?

Joshua Fernades (Jack) what Ethnicity is he? He apparently is Part Aborigene from what I could figure, although I thought maybe Indian? Very Goodlooking guy. ;-)

THANK YOU JT!!!!!

I knew I had seen this actor before and just could not place him.

It was working my nerves!

I believe that you are correct!

That is the only episode that I've seen from beginning to end. Joshua Fernandes was the twink who stole the horses to get the potion to impress the girl, right? Yeah, he was a cutie, but I don't have any pics of him unfortunately.

Yeah! I definitely could spend Quality Time in the Forest with this Cutie!

Just my kind of light entertainment also...Though as far as "Eye Candy" I think Hedrcules probably used every Hunk Stunt Guy available in New Zealand!

IF anyone is looking for a more "Polished Storyline" there's always Robin Hood on BBC America or Dr Who...;-) ;-)

For a second I thought the cutie almost resembles Orlando Bloom, if not the bod then almost certainly the head shot to a certain degree. Anways now onto other matters.

Another more polished tv show is "Primeval" which I think is an absolutely fanastic show. For fans of the show, ITV just picked up an order for a third serial to be commissioned and transmitted for a later date. Not to be outdone the writers themselves are looking ahead to the fourth serial which ITV will decide upon about a year from now depending on upon the viewership for Serial 3.

Another televison show which was transmitted earlier this year on BBC1 is another remake of " Merlin " starring the great Anthony Head. I really enjoy this particular version and the writing is just superb and given the fact that the show's producers gives a little nod to Russel T Davies influence upon British television. Hopefully BBC America will begin airing this show sometime next year.

As for Doctor Who, I dont know if anybody is aware but the television programme itself is about to undergo a major shift in direction by the end of next year. To those who dont know, it's a farewell to the very popular David Tennant who after an almost four year stint as lead is leaving the rejuvenated television show sometime late next year. A series of five sixty minute televison specials will be trasmitted over the following year to mark then end of his time as Doctor Who. The depature of David Tennant coincides Executive Producer Russell T Davies and Executive Producer Julie Gardner. Taking charge of the new incoming team will be Steven Moffat who will succeed Davies as head writer and Executive Producer for the fifth series. No announcements have been made as to who will take over from David Tennant in the lead role.

It'll be sad when David goes considering he's really put a big stamp on the show and made the part very much his own. At the same time he's sort of become a pop icon for some people in Britain. This is a a rare moment for an actor coming from the world of Doctor who. Having said all this, to be fair it'll be also be exciting to see which actor inherits the mantle as the new Doctor Who. As for the future It'll be very interesting to see what Steven Moffat and his team has to offer the viewers when the fifth serial of the popular tv show comes back to BBC1 for the 2010 scheduling lineup.

From what I remember of the Dr Who reruns that I watched on PBS as a kid, every time they got a new main actor, they justified it by saying that Dr Who went through a periodic regeneration process where he actually ages backwards. Basically they would replace him with a younger actor. I wonder if the new Dr Who will follow the same principal and replace the current Dr Who with an even younger actor.

ROS..Good Question. The Last 2 Dr Who Characters have been basically around the same Age.

My ALL Time Fav of course was the Dr Who with the "Big Hair", who I recently saw on an episode of Miss Marpole on PBS...;-)

Actually there was one time when a slighty older actor did take over the lead part from a much younger man. This occured when Peter Davison decided to leave the show in 1984. The producer John Nathan-Turner had in mind Colin Baker to take over from Pete. The age difference between these two actors is nine years.

As to the current Doctor Who serial, the big talk really isn't about a younger or older actor taking over from David Tennant, but rather the bigger hype seems to be for the first time in the show's history the talk of a black Actor taking the lead part. The producers are definitely taking a look at Colin Salmon. It should be interesting as to which actor Steven Moffat will end up inheriting.
