I've been looking around for masseurs for an upcoming trip to Ft Lauderdale and checking out the reviews.

There are way too many 5 star reviews for 5 stars to mean much to me. I wonder if there's a better system than a number if stars with no real guide as to what the number means. For me getting what I expected out of a massage would be 3 stars with additional stars being used based on above average skills or extras and subtraction of stars being based on lack of skills or poor conditions. But I bet if I rated people I was pleased/satisfied with because they did what I hired them to do (no more/no less) at a 3 they would be offended for having received a bad review.
