Embedded UTube viewing problems?

Is anyone else here experiencing problems viewing UTube videos which are embedded in websites, particularly blogs?

 

Just the last couple hours (it's 6 pm here in MSP), when I hit "start" it brings up the picture, starts, and runs maybe one second and then stops; also for that second, there is no audio. x(

I think this has more to do with the ISP connection rather than YouTube itself. I've had similar issues at times. Have you tried rebooting your internet connection? That may help clear the cobwebs.

Odd, I've been having the same exact trouble for maybe two weeks. But when I switch to IE (rather than Firefox) it works. Try a different browser and tell me what happens.

Kevin,IE works for me, but firefox still doesn.t Weird

 

And, yes, AVG I did reboot. When this has happened in the past, rebooting always solved the problem, but not tonight.

Could it be the embed code itself? Does the problem happen with just this one embed and site or with other sites and embeds? Maybe the glitch is on the other end and not with your browser or ISP.

I'm having similar problems with other sites, in that I can't get videos to play when using Firefox, but they do work using IE

Well that's three for three saying it's only a problem in Firefox. I recall that mine just converted over to a newer version.

 

My "about" tab gives me: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008070208 Firefox/3.0.1.

It only happens with UTube embeds - others are fine.
