So I'm reading about Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg and I get curious about what exactly it is that her hubby does for a living. I find a website:

Maybe it's too late, and/or maybe I'm too tired to absorb it all, and/or maybe I'm just too removed from the NYC scene to comprehend the lingo, but just what does this dude do? x(

According to the web site, they design retail interiors, museum installations and the like, and web sites to match, if you want.

Don't feel bad. March of time is taking its toll on all of us. :-)

Adam Smith's answer is correct, I believe. Schlossberg's best known work, I think, is the Pope Pius XII Center in Washington, D.C. I have driven by, but not visited.

I am wrong above. It is the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington, D.C. The Wikipedia entry on Schlossberg is pretty good.
