Hey guys!

After almost a year and a half of having London as my official residency, I have realized that using the word "Vancouver" after my name has had the effect of being a little confusing. People have told me that they have thought the name creates a persona that is entirely not me, as if I was more british or canadian than I actually am. Considering that I am very much a latin guy who has lived in those two countries but is still a pure breed latino I have decided to change my "surname" or nom de bataille to Bruno, which means dark skinned.

So (to make it sound a little more official) henceforth I shall be known as Juan Bruno. (But you can call me whatever the hell you want. :9 ;-)

God, I feel like a new person! :+

Like the old saying:

I don't care what you call me, as long as you don't call me late for dinner!

So basically now you're "John Brown"? Well, since the most famous use of that name is in the song, "John Brown's Body," I guess it's appropriate.

Juan, allow me to be the first to repeat Shakespeare's most appropriate observation:

"What's in a name? that which we call a rose

By any other name would smell as sweet;"

And Juan will be incomparably Juan, wherever he is, or whatever he is called.

While I'd rather call you here & now, I'll just have to settle for the possibility of the end of June/beginning of July, at which time you will no doubt be touring the West Coast of the United States and I shall be reduced to wandering aimlessly through the streets of London calling out "Juan Bruno!" (In that case, thanks for the name change because I doubt anyone will respond should I call out Vancouver, but rumor has it there is a large Brazilian population named Bruno in London at the moment so who knows what might happen?) }(
