I wonder what the average 35 yo American has in saving. I want to know just to see where I'm standing. Anyways, I once thought about living in London. I bet is as expensive as New York.

This isn't granular enough to single out 35 yo but perhaps it helps:

It is legal to travel with lots of cash, but US Customs require that you declare when you are traveling with more than $10,000 in currency. You also have to complete form FinCEN 105 - best to obtain the form before traveling. ?

Couldn't you just use a cryptocurrency and/or an international bank to get around declaring with customs?

guys.... its just a bucket list wish! its not real. jesus!

Actually it's good to understand what it entails. Let's say I go on vacation to the Europe for two weeks and I want to meet 10 companions ( i have my wish list :)) for overnights. That means I would need to to take around 15k USD in cash and I have always wondered how much of pain it is and what sort of scrutiny you might get...

You can withdraw cash from ATM in Europe just as easily as you can in the USA. Citibank is everywhere. Some fees may apply. Which is still much better than being blacklisted by US Customs and FinCen for transporting $10K+ in cash going in and out of the USA.

A lot depends on where in London and where in New York, but I've always heard London was more expensive than New York.

I mean, when I think of NYC I visualize something like Hell's Kitchen, Midtown East, Gramercy, Murray Hill, The Villages, Chelsea and maybe the Upper East and West sides. I would only move to their equivalents in London.

Some banks even offer free ATM withdrawals worldwide, which may solve the issue - cryptocurrencies just seem tempting as a discreet way to deal with escorts.

if i had a prognosis of 6 months to live, i would back my bags for 3 weeks and hunker down in London. IMHO the guys on rentmen there are outrageously hot and muscular. 17 pagers of woof!

i looked at criteria being over 200 pounds. mind you... there were probably 20 or more super hot guys between 175 and 200 pounds. Thor, Marcos, Vigas, FitHotJock, MrHirst and JackStacked would be my "run to" first set ups... lol

I mean... to each his own, but those are probably 10 out of the 20 hot people in London. The rest are male Susan Boyles. Hit me up if you end up needing to make an end-of-life trip so we can pick a better country for you to live it up in :p

Oh it is far worse than that my friend - your money can be seized inside the USA if the police suspect you of a crime. You don’t even have to be convicted first.
