My friend, journalist Christopher Allen, wrote about the war until three years ago but mostly in Eastern Ukraine where the sentiment may have centered on the daily crushing events of living and dying. I am disputing the anti gay feeling in Ukraine, just that Chris never wrote or talked about it.

 

I thought of flying there often - wish I had very much.
