The Kite Runner film

I saw this film with my mother. I must say I found the "Kite Runner" to be superb. I wouldn't be surprised it if won best film. It has elements of a Lifetime "television for women" movie combined with elements of the Sixth Sense.

 

Anyways, the "Kite Runner" was excellent; however, if you're more of an "Aliens and Predators" type of guy then this film might not appeal to you. LOL

I just finished reading the book and was very moved by it. I feared there would be a "Hollywood" ending to the book but it ended almost the only way it could and with much pathos but a glimmer of hope. (I hope the movie is as wise.)

I thought it was excellent as well. I also loved the book. They followed the book fairly well. The book goes into much more about the politics of the time that they don't have time to do in the movie. But I really enjoyed it.
