New masseurs

I was recently at Shangrila Spa in midtown. I had an excellent Thai style massage with Patrick. Have booked with him before and he is consistently good. I was told that they hired some new masseurs recently. I haven’t tried any of them yet but their names are Arturo, Eduard both of whom are Latino and Andy who is Asian I think. Will definitely try one of them the next time I’m there!

Glad to hear that Patrick is still at Shangrila. I have experienced his Thai styled massage and it was different than the usual. Patrick was accomodating and aimed to please. The others you mention are the new recruits. Can you describe them in more detail? Appreciate the update.

I had Andy- didn’t love. Too much focus on one area and hard. I prefer a nice deep massage that flows around entire body.

I dislike having one spot worked on for too long and it being more hard and painful than deep. He lightened up when asked but just had no relaxing rhythm for me.
