Will be in New Orleans for Halloween. I don't think there will be many escorts coming into town as in Decadence or Mardi Gris but would like to spend some time with a QUALITY escorts. Dinner, movie, drinks. I was burned badly by my last hire, to the tune of $3000.00 (not in New Orleans) so I am a little gun shy. Any suggestions?

New Orleans...I’m way overdue for a visit. A perusal of RM yielded at least two tempting options.

I think I can provide some insight for one of these gentlemen. For what it’s worth, “YourSexySecret” has had many, many names over the past few years. Based on experience, I suggest allowing him to keep the “secret” to himself and the OP moving in a different direction entirely. (PM for any additional details.)

Thanks I took a look and neither of the boys peak my interest.

Read reviews.

Hire accordingly.

Build up as much rapport before the visit as you can.

Fly someone in if you feel they're THE guy.

Thanks. I thought I had some amount of rapport with this other fellow but it didn't work out. Live and learn.

Most important: Find someone who (relatively) shares your same objectives.

Read reviews.

Yes to read reviews and hire accordingly after building up as much rapport before the visit as possible.

I respectfully disagree with Ben on the last suggestion he made. Although not a good thing to never say never, I would say never fly someone in unless you have met them before. It is just too costly and risky, even if you "feel they're THE guy". I don't care how good their reviews are and what kind of connection you may make over the phone/iemails/etc, it isn't until you are with someone that you know for sure if there is compatibility and if it is worth the expense to fly someone in to meet you.

Don't let your little head think for your big head.

Hmm, this is a very awkward response as my last visit in New Orleans ended in me getting beat, stolen money and tossed out of a car after visiting an established gay bar that refused to acknowlege this persons visit after I came back after the event. Soo, be very careful, do not trust anyone, the police were not only not helpful but put the blame on me. Sorry to be so negative but when your own gay community cannot support you, it pisses me off.

Thats very unfortunate. I go to New Orleans all the time and thankfully I've never had an issue. But I have heard horror stories like yours

I'm sorry to hear that!

I've been told similar stories too! It's one of the most beautiful and unique cities in the country but unfortunately it's a place where social problems create the perfect condition for a high crime rate at all levels, from petty crime to corruption.
