NYC Suites

Every year or so, a group of friends come to NYC for a weekend. We're planning our next trip for the spring of 2008. We're wondering if there are any places in NYC that have large suites to accomodate 4 couples. We thought it would be fun (and different) to stay in a suite together, realizing that it would probably be a more upscale establishment.

 

Any suggestions?

I love this hotel. By New York standards the rooms are large. It is reasonably priced and within walking distance of Lincoln Center. Each room has a fully stocked kitchenette and there is a Fairway Market directly across Broadway

The Carlyle hotel has a few great three-bedroom suites. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I know NYC is expensive but the Carlyle starts their basic rooms at $700 per night and goes way up from there. I am not sure I could sleep in a $2,000 per night suite even if I were not paying for it.

He mentioned there would be 4 couples = 8 people.

Even at $2000 per night, divided 8 ways that's only $250 each per night. By NYC standards, that sounds like a gift to me.

Actually, the small suites just started at $2000. The other ones headed for $6,000 per night rather quickly. If they wanted or needed the 3 bedroom suite, as suggested, I would suppose more like $1500 per couple per night.

 

Not to pick nits but I think posters here do that from time to time.

KMEM..Exactly..When your "NOT Paying for It"..The Sky is "Usually" the Limit.. Advice is "Cheap" though! LOL BUT not with every guy!

 

I'm sure you Gentlemen can find a suitable suite, without wasting alot of $$ on it. So you can enjoy other NYC Activitie's !
