Seeking advice re. northern Florida

As so often happens, I find I must take a 5-day trip this December to keep my elite status on my airline. Having done this a few times to various southern and central Florida locales (Key West, the Everglades, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota, Tampa/St. Pete, Orlando, Crystal River), I now reflect on the fact that I haven't visited northern Florida yet. So I'm thinking of a quick trip to Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and the Kennedy Space Center. Alas, there don't seem to be any escorts in this area (or are there??). Perhaps someone who knows the area can assist me in selecting a base. Is St. Augustine the best place to hang my hat for the 4 nights? Or would Jacksonville or Daytona Beach be better? Is Jacksonville the busiest airport in the area? Any advice would be appreciated--thanks!

As far as escorts, you should contact Devon Roff in north florida (reviewed here on Daddys). While he lives out in the sticks, he travels across north fl to meet clients. I also noticed Michael has moved from Ft Myers to Tampa, and travels the state to meet clients. Both of these guys are exceptional IMO.

 

Maybe someone better acquianted with Jax, St Aug, and Daytona can give you recommendations on where to set up a base of operations, perhaps our resident Jackhammer :-) I think he knows St Auggie well. }(

 

I have used the Jax airport many times. It is modern, efficient, easy in/out, served by many major airlines, and has sufficient flights to meet the needs of businessmen and vacationers alike.
