Pictures from my Baltic adventure

Hi guys, I thought I'd share with you some shots from my recent trip in the Baltic. I had the opportunity to visit Copenhagen (Denmark), Warnemunde (Germany), Tallinn (Estonia), St. Petersburg (Russia), Helsinki (Finland) and Stockholm (Sweden). The highlight of my trip was of course St. Petersburg and its beautiful architecture and canals, the Winter Palace and the Hermitage. I one week made some good friends, visited some wonderful places in a great company. We lucked out with the weather - all the way sunny and warm (except one rainy day in Helsinki). It was definitely worth it.

Steven, truly wonderful photographs. And they brought back memories. I traveled from Tokyo back to the States through the Soviet Union via the Trans-Siberian Railway in 1965 with stops in (Moscow of course), Leningrad (St. Petersburg), Helsinki, Stockholm and Copenhagen (ah, the Tivoli). Helsinki seemed so clean you could eat off the street. Flew to New York from Amsterdam. It's a wonderful part of the world. So glad you had such great weather to enjoy it. And, of course, wish I could do that trip again (at least the Scandanavian part of it).
