Ah que j'aime la France. Can you imagine an American professional sports team having this kind of ease with sexuality? What's surprising about these guys is not how beautiful their bodies are -- one assumes they would have great builds -- but their handsome faces. Look at Clerc...he looks like a Renaissance painting of an angel.

Oddly enough, I was just in France a few weeks ago, and a busload of rugby players pulled up in front of the cafe where I was eating in a small town. They filed out, each one bigger and tougher looking the other. Only one or two were handsome, most just looked big and mean. The Dieux du Stade are selected from teams all over the country I think.

I imagine most or all of these guys are straight. They just lack the fear of appearing "gay" that is more common on this side of the Atlantic. They know perfectly well that every homo in France is buying that calendar. Of course one or two might be bi or gay, who knows, we can dream.

Their doing these scenes without getting major boners makes me think that they may well be straight. I didn't get to shower with rugby players, but these pictures did remind me that forty years ago numerous handsome and talented young Frenchmen happily shared their bodies with a young American. Do you have any idea how many times you've probably caused me to jerk off tonight?
