Tax attorneys or tax lawyers can help you prepare tax documents and do tax planning. They also will represent you in court if any tax disputes arise. Basically, they know everything that the accountants do and more. So if you have a trustworthy accountant, there’s no need to find a tax attorney. You may still hire a tax lawyer to conduct an audit to ensure your business runs according to your state’s tax law. Your CPA should know everything about deductions, credits, and exemptions.

Used the same accountant for years. He knows his stuff, keeps up with tax changes via seminars and other training events. Has all the latest technology needed to prepare and file taxes and I'm good.
