Funny Clip Greg !

I used to entertain frequently at Derrick`s Restuarant in the Beverly Comstock Hotel in Westwood during the mid 70`s, a celebrity hangout where Richard was the Maitre`D. He was the nicest guy and my clients from all over loved the irreverence(shit) he gave them about their tie, suit etc.

He has worked hard for the Empire he has built but time now to get rid of the silly shorts and tank tops. :+

How I wish there were recordings of the Best of Richard when he was on Howard Stern's old radio show. I used to make myself late for work refusing to leave the car until the segment was over. Remember Richard took Howard's daughters on shopping sprees (for Barbies) and took credit for comming up with the name for Howard's last kid. Their friendship died when Howard interviewed an escort who blabbed to the press (Richard liked to be spanked and told he was a bad girl - or as Howard mocked hundreds of time "Daddy's girl's been a bad girl!")Richard never did the show again and Letterman took over Howard's role. My favorite bit was when Richard was doing charity work collecting money for the homeless during winter so they could buy coats and Howard donated what he had at the time - 9 cents. Richard was in tears. And Richard played Howard once swearing he was straight and was getting married which led Howard to quip "all the flags on Fire Island just went half-mast."
