I received a disturbing email today from Focus on the Family, part of which I am diseminating here. Will they never stop?

We have two important updates to share with you about efforts by radical liberals in Washington, D.C., to erode our freedoms.

We alerted you last week about the Hate Crimes Act, which would increase penalties for violent crimes committed against members of groups specially selected for protection, such as homosexuals. However, this bill would really threaten the freedom of pastors and people of faith to hold or share the biblical view of homosexuality. Our freedoms of speech and religion are squarely in the crosshairs of this bill.

I have had issues with Focus on the Family, and it seems that anything that is not in agreement with his thoughts is against the family. He gets too involved in other issues, and should stay focused on the family, and talk about relationships between family members, parents, kids, grandparents etc.

This guy is an only child, and only has one child himself. He has a degree in child phsychology.(I know I spelt it wrong), and has used that to start up a radio show, which has become his pulpit. He loves Busch and Gingrich. Dislikes Democrats.

The truth is..... if a person is a Christian, then they should show respect towards others, regardless of orientation, etc.

Most of the major religions do not condone gays, however that does not mean that they should be preaching a whole sermon against gays. There are more issues in a person's life, than having to hear someone give their opinion about sexual preferences.

There are only a few verses in the Bible that talk about sexual orientation, yet he has to go on and on about this.

Now I don't want to speak like I think the guy has not done any good, because he has, and many familys have benefited from his organization, but I just feel that he gets off on tangents, and when he does that he loses the origional intent of his organization.

Sorry Louis, but I can't be as forgiving as you are when it comes to this homophobe. I don't care how much "good" he has done (frankly I wasn't aware of any good) but in my eyes he is the enemy and probably damn close to the top of the list.

If only his wife would turn out to be a dyke!
