Been there recently...clean, spacious, friendly management BUT expensive . Paid $110+ tips (first time there so I bought membership). Massage ok but not very active. Prob will not return altho if I do , I will try to see the rcommended Alex

Jerrybythesea is referring to the fairly new Shangrila Men's Spa in midtown NYC. Yes, it's a bit more than most of the others but it is certainly more upscale. There are enough masseurs of different ethnic backgrounds to choose from worthy of a return visit.

I had a great massage from Jorge about a month ago.

I went to Shangrila for the first time and had a great experience. They got me in with short notice and I got Rodrigo. Everyone there was professional and courteous. And the massage went the full time (something I'm very picky about). It is a couple dollars more but then place is gorgeous, upscale and right by Grand Central. I didn't notice any ambient or street noise like some others have mentioned. I'll definitely go back.
