Has Borat star Sacha Cohen had any criminal problems?

I just saw the movie Borat and was kind of surprised by the extent of some of the stuff he did. Some of the stuff was downright criminal, such as the assault and battery of Pamela Anderson and the running around naked in the realtors' convention. As a British subject, and not an American, wasn't he concerned that he would be prosecuted and banned from coming to the U.S. again? Did he ever get into any serious legal problems? If the Canadians on this board are right that we Americans are as strict about keeping even the most minor criminal elements out of our country, wouldn't he be banned from the U.S.? I also read on Wikipedia that he has an official invitation to visit Kazakhstan. I have to believe that if he ever took up that invitation, he'd be spending some time in a Kazakh jail!

And were the only truly hilarious moments in the movie. Until then, I sat there stoney-faced and bored out of my skull while those around me howled with laughter.

 

I love Pamela Anderson. I want to be her for a day.
